Lent

I've decided to re-read the CCC for Lent.  I really don't like the idea of "giving up" something. Not that I wouldn't give up something; self-denial is great, but I always thought it shallow (except that one Lent when I gave up movies.  Best.  Lent.  Ever.).  For the past few years, I've always added something, and it usually involves reading.  I've read the CCC and the Vatican II documents in the past.  This year, I've decided to re-read the CCC at a rate of about 25 paragraphs per day.  I'm jacked because it's already quoting Aquinas.  Forgot about that stuff.  Also, no second helpings.

Anyways, currently plugging through Recollections of Joan of Arc (Twain- half-way through), The Four Loves (Lewis- one chapter left), and Heretics (Chesterton- just started).  Should be a pretty awesome time.

Recently, one of my friends told me about one of the titles for Our Lady:

Our Lady, Untier of Knots

I'd never heard that title before my friend mentioned it, and, suddenly, I call upon Her intercession on a regular basis.  Good stuff, especially since I knit and make rosaries, pray for my future husband (Archangel Raphael and Tobias are below her in the painting), and make a mess out of my life.  Anyways.

Big surprise, I bought more books:
That's it for now.

PS.  I'm steadily becoming a huge fan of TLM.
