We're on a mission from God...

As i sit here and scrumptiously savor the remainder of my peaches 'n cream oatmeal by swiping the bowl with my pointer finger.... I ponder-

What is the meaning of life?

To some, the meaning of life may involve money, relationships, houses, or any other inconsequential thing. However, there are two things in life that I love most- Jesus and books. It's just so awesome that they coincide with one another and help each other "click."

I explained to my 5 year olds at day care this morning how I like to "eat words." I taught them the meaning of metaphor... basically i said: "you see, munchkins... when I say "I eat books," I don't really mean that I eat books though, right? right. When you read books, you're learning, right? So, you're kind of feeding your brain to make it grow big and strong, right? So when you're reading, you're feeding breakfast to your brain. so that's what I mean when I say, 'I eat books.'"

What is my meaning in life?
I have been called by God to
1) be His holy blowtorch 2) be a good role model for adolescents and 3) to be a teacher- teaching what I love the most- Jesus and Books.

I am on a mission from God, gentle reader, and I'll be damned if I let anything get in my way.

That being said, here are my notes from the midterm. my stupid flipping jump drive took a big crap, so I just scanned them. sorry for the poor quality, but the files are already huge! ack! I think you can click on them to see them in a larger size.

Also, I've ventured forth and finished Through the Looking Glass, and Snark. Good reads. I'm going to read them in the Annotated Alice next so i can get some good insights on the story. I'll post more about that later.
I also started reading Anguished English by Dickie Lederer. I must admit, it is substantially more hilarious than his other book, but I think that's due to the fact that he isn't writing most of it. He's simply providing blunders that other people have written. It's great so far... and I'll post more on that later.
